A postdoctoral fellowship position is available for a multidisciplinary project on neonatal pain and stress in relation to brain function at school age in children born very prematurely. The successful applicant will hold a PhD in neuroscience, biopsychology or a related discipline and have a background in neuroimaging (preferably MEG and/or MRI). The available position is at the BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute in Vancouver Canada, a campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC).

The lab uses biomarkers, surveys and questionnaires, eyetracking and social, emotional and cognitive child assessments to study the effects of risk and resilience.
