Rachel Barr, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at Georgetown University and the Director of the Georgetown Early Learning Project. Barr is interested in how young children learn so rapidly from the world around them, including learning in the digital world and multilingual environments. She has used media content as part of an early intervention parenting program. Currently she is working on a manybabies project to examine family media ecology globally. She has worked with Zerotothree to disseminate the knowledge via’s Screensense resources.
