Clinical Research Post-Doc Position at Yale University

The Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program at the Yale Child Study Center housed at Yale University School of Medicine is accepting applications for a clinical research post-doctoral position. The position is currently open, start date is flexible, and the initial position duration is for at least 2 years. The Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program conducts research relating to the causes, mechanisms, and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders in children.

Primary responsibilities of the post-doctoral fellow include providing attention bias modification treatment for adolescents with social anxiety and collecting, processing, and analyzing EEG/ERP and eye tracking data in an NIMH-funded 2-site study (Yale, Florida International University). Preference will be given to candidates with background in these areas. Experience with MATLAB is also preferred, but not required. The candidate will receive mentoring in leading independent research projects including grant applications and publications. Call for Symposium Proposals for ISDP 2019 in Chicago: We are particularly interested in proposals that are likely to stimulate formal and informal discussion. Although the inclusion of a discussant is not a requirement, there should be integration of topics across the individual speakers. At least one speaker must be an ISDP member and speakers must represent different laboratories and locations. The Program Committee is especially interested in a “Young Investigators Symposium”, the ISDP encourages submissions from investigators within five years of earning a PhD to submit a Young Investigators Symposium.
