The 2024 meeting will be held at the Swissôtel Chicago, October 2-4, 2024 immediately prior to the Society for Neuroscience 2024 conference, which provides you a more convenient way to attend both conferences! The Swissôtel is on the SfN shuttle route and ideally situated where the Chicago River meets Lake Michigan, just steps away from the Lakefront, The Magnificent Mile and downtown business district, with fabulous wrap-around views from Navy Pier to Millennium Park.

Especially for ISDP Students – For any guestroom reserved within the room block, there will be no additional charge for up to quad occupancy. However, the hotel’s double-double capacity is limited, please book EARLY!
Classic Room with 2 Double Beds
For any reservation outside of the group block, each extra person (over two individuals) sharing a room will be charged an additional $30.00 per night per person. There will be no charge for children up to and including the age of 18 years who share with their parents. Maximum occupancy is four (4) per room. Hotel has a limited inventory of rollaways for an additional charge.

Transit to/from Chicago’s airports
O’Hare and Midway are easily accessible by train (CTA), taxi, rideshare, and shuttle bus.
The Chicago Transit Authority serves both airports for easy and economical travel between downtown and Chicago neighborhoods using the ‘L’ train. The 24-hour CTA Blue Line connects directly to O’Hare and the CTA Orange Line connects directly to Midway. Chicago O’Hare International Airport
Chicago O’Hare Airport is served by 43 commercial airlines and is located 17 miles from downtown Chicago and McCormick Place. Chicago O’Hare Airport is the best option for international travel.
- Time/Distance: Approximate 40-minute drive (17 miles) to downtown Chicago and McCormick Place.
- ‘L’ Train (Blue Line): Approcimately 1 hour on the train, plus 19 minute walk or 5 minute Lyft. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Chicago’s light rail system, known as the “L”, provides service throughout the city including to and from Chicago O’Hare Airport. From O’Hare, the “L” Train Blue line direction Forest Park, the Chicago, Clark stop is a 19 minute walk (or short Lyft or taxi) to the hotel. - Taxis: Taxis are available at the lower levels (outside of baggage claim) at each terminal. Fares are based on traffic conditions, but an average fare is $40-$50.

Midway International Airport
Midway Airport is served by 8 commercial airlines and is located 11 miles from downtown Chicago and McCormick Place. Midway Airport is the best option for domestic travel.
- Time/Distance: Approximate 20-minute drive (11 miles) to downtown Chicago and McCormick Place.
- ‘L’ (Orange Line): Approximately 46 minutes on the train and a 15 minute walk or short Lyft or taxi. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Chicago’s light rail system, known as the “L”, provides service throughout the city including to and from Midway Airport. Both airports offer plentiful taxi service to downtown and the suburbs. Rates range from $40-50 from O’Hare, and $30 – $40 from Midway. Taxi stands are located on the arrivals level of each terminal. Rates vary based on travel time and are subject to change.
Rideshare companies offer service to and from both of Chicago’s airports. Refer to rideshare applications to hail a driver and for rideshare rates. Rideshare pick-up locations are as follows:
