Dr. Courtney Filippi invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral scholar to support analysis of infant resting state fMRI data for a collaborative project involving data from ENIGMA ORIGINs and HBCD. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants/toddlers in a research setting, strong programming skills (e.g., Matlab, R, Linux and/or Python), strong project management skills, be highly motivated to publish first-author papers, and will work well in a team environment. Experience with ‘big data’, MRI data analysis, and/or advanced statistical modeling is preferred. Responsibilities of the postdoc include data analysis, writing manuscripts, supervision of postbac trainees, preparing conference presentations, and writing mentored grant proposals.
Dr. Filippi’s Infant Brain and Behavior lab (ibb-lab.com) is in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone located in Midtown Manhattan (One Park Ave, New York, NY). The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry has a vibrant community of developmental scientists, neuroscientists, and clinicians.
This position is to begin Fall 2026 for an initial term of 2 years. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Salary range: $70,000 – $75,000 per year plus full benefits.
