ISDP 2025 returns to the Catamaran Resort Hotel, a San Diego Beachfront Resort, a tropical hideaway in San Diego’s Pacific Beach community on the sparkling shores of Mission Bay across the street from the Pacific Ocean.

ISDP 2025 Group Room Rates: Standard Garden View Guestroom – $249 per night plus taxes

Currently 10.5% city transient occupancy tax (“TOT”), 2% San Diego Tourism Marketing Assessment (“SDTMA”) and $0.89 California Tourism Assessment per room per night, and are subject to change without notice.
 
Sleeps 4 – 275 to 300 Features iHome for your iPhone, flat screen TV, desk, and vanity. Special Group Rates are for up to 4 people staying in the room, ISDP will circulate a roommate sharing list for students and postdocs.
 

Resort Fee of $36.00 is WAIVED for all rooms booked in ISDP group block, but guests will still receive all of the following resort fee amenities:

  • Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public spaces of up to 15Mbps of shared bandwidth (download andupload speed) per guest room. Higher bandwidth plans are available for purchase.
  • Two in-room bottled waters per day
  • Use of beach chairs and umbrellas on their Bay Beach (subject to availability)
  • Access to indoor/outdoor bay front fitness center
  • Access to outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool
  • USA Today newspaper in the lobby each morning
  • Complimentary local and domestic long distance phone calls
  • Premium coffee maker and tea available in each guest room

Guarantee Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card where the expiration date is at least the departure date and has the ability to cover the cost of room and tax for 1 night. Reservations are subject to cancellation if card does not meet requirements. 
 
Cancel Policy
Reservations must be changed or cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid charge of one nights room and tax. 
 

Parking Charges at the time of the Group Arrival: $26.00 per day self-park for hotel guest, $44.00 per day valet park for hotel guests.

Current pricing for those not staying at the hotel: Self -Parking: Local attendees will receive daily parking at a reduced $26.00 rate (no in and out privileges for non-hotel guests). Valet Parking: 1st Hour $25.00; $10.00 each additional hour, Maximum of $65.00 per day
